SEGA GENESIS
|
|
The Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis was a 16-bit video game
console released by Sega in Japan (1988), North America
(1989), Europe (1990) and most of the rest of the world as
the Mega Drive. After release in Japan the Mega Drive was
competing in popularity with PC-Engine and Nintendo Super
Famicom, slightly loosing to them. In USA, however, by 1992
it has gained a leading position in video games consoles
market, beating even the legendary SNES.
In 1996, Sega quickly brought their participation in the
16-bit era to an end by discontinuing production of the
Genesis and its associated accessories. |

One out of the many Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis emulators
is Gens. It
works perfectly for this game. |

Beat 'em up. The intro is perfect. You'll get to play as
one of the Inner Soldiers and your aim is to beat all
enemies: regular ones and bosses (the final boss is Queen
Beryl). At the end of each level Tuxedo Mask gives you an
overall grade ranging from A to E, that is judged by how
many damage you took, how many lives you lost, etc. During
the game a player can pick different items restoring health
or giving an additional life. On the whole, the game has
very nice graphics and animation.
